PEAM is about people

PEAM stands for Paul, Emma, Andrea and Matthias. The names of our family. What may seem personal is, in fact, intentional. Not because of the private story behind it, but because the personal is always at the center of what we do.

At PEAM, it’s about people first. Spaces come second.
Every design we create begins with the lives, values and daily habits of the people who inhabit it. We see interior design as a way to offer space for personality, for quiet clarity, for freedom to grow. We do not believe in rooms that compete for attention. Not in decoration for decoration’s sake. Our homes are calm, open and grounded. Designed for clarity. For presence. And for character.

Calm

Our response to the speed and constant digital stimulation of everyday life is to create spaces that feel quiet. We work with soft colours, thoughtful lighting and natural materials like wood, stone or linen. Less noise, more space. Some call it slow living. We prefer the word calm, because it is where strength begins.

Nature grounds us. It brings calm. That’s why we design interiors that reflect exactly that. Using materials that age beautifully, like wood, leather, linen or steel. We choose earthy tones that create balance and stillness. And we work with natural light in a way that brings quiet energy into the room.

Character

We love integrating handpicked vintage pieces into our spaces.
For us, patina is not a flaw — it is a sign of history.
Furniture with a past adds depth and honesty to a home.
It offers gentle anchor points for the eye, and a quiet sense of presence.

Our common path

We invite our clients to become part of the design process. Of course, we present moodboards and send material samples. But we also visit workshops together, talk to craftspeople, stand in the carpentry shop in the very place where something special is created. Every object gains its own story. And you gain a lasting connection to your future home.
